Landscape Gardeners & Horticulturalists – up to £30,000 p.a.*
We’re looking to expand our team of Landscape Gardeners who care for prestigious domestic gardens in Oxfordshire and Berkshire, with the addition of two new positions.
Working alongside experienced Landscape Gardeners and Horticulturalists, your responsibilities will include all aspects of garden maintenance including mowing, strimming, edging and seasonal care of lawns. In addition your responsibilities will include seasonal pruning, staking, feeding and general care of mixed and herbaceous borders. You may also be required to maintain water features, timber garden structures and hard landscaping features.
A high level of physical fitness is essential for this role.
We’re looking for people who are enthusiastic about gardening, are eager to learn new skills and can work effectively on their own and as part of a team. We provide both on the job and classroom-based training in order to develop your skills and increase your knowledge of horticulture and confidence in garden care and development.
You will need to have a clean drivers licence and have your own transport so that you can get yourself to client sites within 15 miles of our base in Wallingford. Uniform and PPE provided.
Good plant knowledge, ideally RHS Level 1 or 2 Horticulture, PA1 and PA6 and experience in the use of mowers, strimmers and hedge-cutters would be an advantage.
